Welcome to walkinginIreland.org. I started this site due to my love of hill walking and walking long distance routes like the Camino de Santiago and the West Highland Way. As I live in Ireland I thought I would be able to get lots of great information on this site. It hasn’t quite worked out that way to date, (Feb 2011), this has been down to the site not being on a content management system – it is now, and lack of time – 2011 will give me more time to add more information on all the places I have been in Ireland.
