Irish Walking routes and other great places to see.
On this little island, clinging to the edge of Europe, with a population of less than an average city, we are completely spoilt for choice when it comes to books about Ireland or walking in Ireland. Go into any book shop in Dublin and there is normally at least one section just on travel books in Ireland, so even if you don't get what you want before you come here you have a good chance of getting it once you are here. The two biggest book shops are on Dawson Street, just minutes walk from Grafton Street, Waterstones and Hodges Figgis, they are opposite each other at the Trinity end of the Street.
Unlike some other countries where I would quite happily recommend books, that is not the case here. I own so many walking and cycling books for Ireland it is too difficult a choice, so have a browse yourself. However normally you can't go too far wrong with the Lonely Planet series.
