Flying is really the best way and mostly the only way to get here if you are traveling from anywhere apart from Britain. Due to the advent of cheap air travel the costs of getting to Ireland are fairly cheap, ( it gets a bit more expensive once you are here). Other airline to try are Airlingus and Ryanair from anywhere in Europe.

The Ferries from Britain to Ireland are not cheap or even reasonable if you are taking your car. For foot passengers it is fine – but that is the price.
